Our oldest daughter, while browsing at a local Goodwill, stumbled upon a book that contained a treasure—an original paper newsletter from 2010, called Lake Carolina Living. It was a publication that had once celebrated the spirit of the neighborhood, highlighting events, local stories, and the values that make Lake Carolina unique.
We couldn’t help but be amazed at the coincidence, especially since, at that time, we were already contemplating starting our own neighborhood magazine called Lake Carolina Living. The discovery felt like God’s gentle nudge, affirming the vision He had placed on our hearts. It was a reminder that the heart of this community has always been about connection, storytelling, and shared experiences. Just as that old newsletter once brought people together, we believe that Lake Carolina Living can continue to build on that legacy and bring new opportunities for residents to stay informed, engaged, and inspired.
